Why we’re taking part.
We’re taking part in KidsCanBall this October – where we play as much handball as we can to raise funds for kids that need some awhi by providing them with food, shoes and the awesome waterproof fleece jackets that our school get.Too many kiwi kids arrive at kura cold, hungry and unable to learn - if they make it to school at all.
The charity KidsCan supports over 1,500 schools and early childhood centres nationwide, and they’re facing huge demand. They need help to raise $1 million to support 10,000 children, so we’re doing our part by playing as much handball as we can across the month of October.
