Play handball for kids who need a hand up.
This October, we’re challenging students in schools across New Zealand to play as much handball (A.K.A four square) as they can, to raise money for kids who need a hand-up.
With you on our team, we’re aiming to raise $1 million to support 10,000 children with food, solid shoes and a warm jacket. Help us level the playing field so every child can focus on learning.
ASB is teaming up as our official Schools Sponsor – gifting the first 250 schools that join the challenge with free handball starter kits to get the ball rolling and Kiwi kids moving!

Parent / Student Registration
Parents need to sign up and create a profile for anyone under 18. Over 18? You're all good to register yourself!

Why should your school participate?
- Your students love handball already – it's fun, easy to play, inclusive, and great exercise
- Games can be any length, at any time – during breaks, or incorporated into PE lessons
- It’s easy to take part through our fundraising platform
- Students sign up, set a goal and challenge themselves to get active
- They earn badges as they achieve targets, and there are prizes for the most funds raised
- The school who raises the most money could score themselves a visit from The Hits depending on your school location
- Most importantly, students learn how to help other students who need support
- They’ll see the impact – we’ll share the difference their donation makes to a child in poverty
